I remember taking a train from Ontario to Halifax a few years back and the guy sitting next to me strikes up a conversation. I find out his name is Pierre (French Canadia, thick accent) and was, at that time living on a farm in B.C. The way he described it, a beautiful villa against fresh mountain country. Well, he was definately articulate and seemed to enjoy the fact that he was never at a loss for words. We spoke politics and religion (my favorites). Eventually the discussion blossomed and the topic of choice was ‘film as a forum.’ The most memorable fruit of that conversation was Charlie Chaplin. Pierre had a computer with him and he showed me this video. I hope you enjoy!
